Hello friends,
The season has changed and is ready for the winter to prepare for the spring! Much have developed over the year as the hand of the Lord is over our ministry. It is because of your obedience to support our cause to help the Filipino pastors and their communities in the less fortunate areas in the Philippines from the province of Ilocos in Luzon all the way down to Davao in Mindanao. Thank you for your prayers and support!
The Dayspring Team had excelled in their performance at the Annual Golf Tournament held at the Summitpointe Golf Course in Milpitas, CA.. Special thanks to Lisa Ysip, Dayspring Golf Coordinator for all her hard work! Special thanks to Doc Lane, the co-emce.
In spite of some challenges that arose in keeping the pigs healthy and
multiply the Livelihood In Cotobato,– Pigs Project
–is currently growing in leaps and bound! As Grace and Benji
Fontanilla, Dayspring Livelihood Directors said, “God is
watching over the animals during the cholera outbreaks and floods. He
watched Pas. Rodiyn’s congregation during the invasion of the
Muslim terrorist that scattered the village for 2.5 months. The corn
crop was not burned and
the vinegar project wasn’t disturbed. Now the
pastors are encouraged, their members are being raised up to be leaders
and community workers. Through the livelihood they can now
reach nonchurched beneficiaries, minister to tem and bring them to the
churches.”
PraiseGod!
Please pray for the upcoming trip to Chicago, IL to launch Dayspring Chicago at the end of October 2010. A team had caught the vision and are eagerly waiting for the California Dayspring Commission to share testimonies and plans. It will be headed by Rose Capistrano-Rokicki.
A mission team is being prepared to leave for the Philippines in February 2011. They will be ministering to the pastors and their wives in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Benguet and Zambales while a team from Jubilee’s Filipino Ministry heads for Negros and Davao in March 2011.
We are approaching close to the end of the year and therefore our last few months to have our contributions for this year count for a tax break. Please consider supporting this ministry financially. Please send your donations to:
